Tim Bedore

Over the past 25 years Tim Bedore has spent thousands of hours entertaining audiences, first on the radio and then as a comedian, headlining comedy clubs across the country. One of the few comics to have combined the disciplines of stand-up comedy and broadcasting, Tim knows the rigors of working within demanding parameters.

Tim Bedore

Tim has kept his hand in the radio business through his radio commentary feature Vague But True®, which is heard (since 1997) regularly on public radio's prestigious Marketplace program by over six-million people daily and on the syndicated morning program The Bob and Tom Show.

Tim has written and recorded over 700 hundred installments of Vague But True, including one called The Animal Conspiracy that led to the creation of Tim's very popular slide show presentation "An Inconvenient Horror-The Animal Conspiracy."  Producing these weekly commentaries for the radio keeps Tim's stand-up comedy material fresh and topical.

Unlike many comedians whose material is only appropriate for night-clubs, Tim has been able to work very successfully in many different situations, including charity and corporate events as an entertainer and host. Tim Bedore is a stand-up comedian whose unique background has produced an entertainer who knows how to cut across the boundaries of individual tastes and get an audience to enjoy his way of looking at the world.

What people are saying about Tim

  1. Leslie Martin – Compaq Computer Corporation

…thank you again for the outstanding job you did entertaining at our recent company function. It is always a challenge to find tasteful, memorable entertainment for such an event, especially when dealing with business partners and customers as diverse as ours. Your performance hit the bulls-eye for us, and not only broke the ice but really helped get the evening moving. People were reciting punch lines and playing characters from your bits all night!

  2. Jeff Smulyan – Ennis Communications

Just wanted to thank you for the terrific job you did at our Florida conference. We always bring some entertainment in for these events but it has never gone so well. You killed my people and they are not an easy crowd (everybody in radio thinks they’re a comedian).

  3. Jim Franck – Franck & Associates

Tim Bedore was exactly as promised, but better! …his stand-up routine was delightful, hilarious. He had virtually everyone in tears at one point or another and received compliments from all present. He was great!
