With a name like Beehner, one can either resign to be the butt of other people’s jokes or write their own. The hilarious Johnny Beehner chose the latter…
…and has been touring extensively ever since, bringing his stories of childhood missteps, newly married life, and The Olive Garden to fans all over.
Self-described as a "fifth grader trying to figure out how to be the newly married responsible pet owner," Beehner began his comedy career in Milwaukee while attending college. As he grew in popularity on the local scene, he also spent summers honing his chops in Los Angeles and New York, competing on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, and being featured on The Bob & Tom Show. He is currently a nationally touring headliner, but wants you to know he is not above sleeping in his car.
With a strong background in improvisational theater throughout all of college, including training at Chicago's prestigious Second City, Johnny brings a very unique show to the stage. His shows have been described as "silly," "smart," "fun," and "hilarious." Johnny centers himself as the butt of most of his jokes with tales of growing up an awkward, tall, skinny middle child in a huge family. Whether it's at a college, a private event, or a comedy club, Johnny’s clean and clever style of comedy is sure to keep the audience laughing.
